The CobbLinc app serves as a comprehensive platform for accessing Cobb County's Microtransit and Paratransit services.

Microtransit

CobbLinc Go offers an on-demand microtransit service designed to enhance transportation accessibility in South Cobb, specifically in Austell, Powder Springs, and southwestern Marietta. This service operates across an extensive area that encompasses three previously defined FLEX zones, allowing users to commute, run errands, and connect with bus routes 25 and 30 according to their own schedules. It is implemented as part of a two-year pilot program aimed at improving public transportation options in this region.

Users can conveniently book rides through the CobbLinc app or by calling shortly before they intend to travel. The service includes vehicle pooling for passengers traveling in the same direction, and wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available.

Paratransit

The Paratransit Service offered by CobbLinc provides a shared-ride, curb-to-curb solution for individuals with disabilities who require assistance that the regular ("fixed route") bus service cannot accommodate due to various limitations. While the service is provided under a contract with Transdev, CobbLinc supervises all operational elements. The service facilitates access to shopping, social events, medical appointments, hospitals, and employment throughout Cobb County via the free CobbLinc app.

This Paratransit service operates daily and mirrors the operating hours of local bus services. Coverage extends within a three-quarter (¾) mile radius around existing local bus routes in Cobb County and into select areas of Fulton County.

Bookings can be made through CobbLinc up to three days in advance. Customers receive notifications regarding their trip status and vehicle arrival times. Upon booking, users are informed of their 30-minute pickup window during which they should be prepared for pickup. Prior to each trip, automated reminders are sent out via call or text.

On the day of the journey, an automated notification will alert customers when the vehicle approaches their location. Drivers will wait for up to six minutes at the pickup point; if they arrive early, they will stand by until the beginning of the designated pickup window followed by an additional six-minute wait.

Passengers may share their rides with others and may experience additional stops before reaching their final destination. Real-time ride tracking is available through the app for enhanced user experience.

All vehicles are wheelchair accessible and operated by drivers trained to assist passengers effectively. Whether for errands or regular appointments, CobbLinc aims to provide reliable transportation solutions.
